Interview Section

Attention to all members,

2013 is finally coming to an end.
It has been a tiring year with lots of restructuring of the division and increase number of activities.

It is time to elect the new committee.
As such, an interview section is schedule to be held next month.

Details of the interview is shown below:
Date: 23rd August 2013
Time: 1.00pm
Venue: Resource Room

****NOTE****
Only members who had passed their first aid examination this year or before this year are allowed to participate in the interview.


Are you ready to take up the challenge to bring the division to greater height??
Position available and their job description are shown below:

Chairperson (1 Position)
- Lead all committee members and members in achieving the objectives of division.
- Maintain high standards of First Aid and skills among all members.
- Promote unity among all members of the division
- Ensure smooth operation within all departments
- Ensure all weekly activity are well planned and all syllabus of First aid are taught before First Aid Examinations.
- Be always forward looking and positive in all decision making.
- Organise Committee Training to ensure that all committee members are competent in First Aid and Foot Drill Knowledge.

Assistant Chairperson - Discipline (1 Position)
- Maintain high standards of Foot drill knowledge and skills among all members.
- Ensure that all Members are discipline.
- To maintain a proper update in Divisional Blog and Divisional Facebook Page

Secretary(1 Department Head and 1 Assistant)
- Ensure that all member’s Detail are up to date.
- To prepare agenda and minutes for all divisional meeting and weekly activity.
- To ensure that all attendance for each gerko and Ac. Hoc. Project is well recorded.
- Prepare All the First Aid Examination Documents needed for First Aid Examination.

Treasurer(1 Department Head and 1 Assistant)
- To keep Division Funds in safe custody.
- Ensure that only valid expenses can be claimed
- Maintain and keep proper records of accessories, full uniforms and Half Uniforms.
- Maintain and keep proper records of Division Account.

Storekeeper (1 Department Head and 1 Assistant)
- To maintain a clean and tidy environment in the store.
- To complete first aid kit for all public duties, SJAM Events and first aid training.
- To keep proper records and purchase of all First Aid Stock.
- To upgrade and purchase First Aid Kit, and other first aid equipment for the division to improve the service to the public.

Public Duty Manager(1 Department Head and 1 Assistant)
- Ensure there are sufficient members to respond for duties
- Record and report on all public duties.
- Update members on coming duties.
- Ensure smooth operation of St. John Flagday / any Fund Raising Activity to increase Divisional Fund.
